Upon your arrival at Baku’s Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD), our courteous driver will greet you and provide a comfortable transfer directly to your Baku hotel. Once there, you can check in and familiarize yourself with the hotel and its surrounding area.
Overnight in Baku
The tour begins with visits to the Highland Park and Alley of Martyrs, followed by the National Assembly (Milli Majlis) and the iconic Flame Towers, Baku’s tallest skyscrapers. A leisurely stroll along the Baku Boulevard, stretching along the Caspian Sea from Freedom Square to the Old City and beyond (including the newer Yeni Bulvar extension), is also included. We’ll then delve into the history of the Old City (Inner City), Baku’s ancient, walled core, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A photo stop at the Maiden Tower is planned, after which we’ll experience the striking modern architecture of the Heydar Aliyev Center, a remarkable building designed by Zaha Hadid.
Beginning with the Tufandaq Winter-Summer Tourism Complex. Here, you can enjoy cable car rides year-round, skiing on slopes of varying difficulty (with ski training and a ski school available), dining at cafes and restaurants, children’s entertainment, and other amenities. The tour continues to the picturesque Nohur Lake, located a short distance into the mountains near Gabala (en route to Sheki).
Finally, we’ll visit the stunning Seven Beauties Waterfalls (Yeddi Gozel Waterfall), a series of seven cascades nestled amidst lush forests and mountains near Vendam village in the Gabala region.
